Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Dress Code: smart attire. It will be summertime when we're tying the knot, and it can get very hot in the Wairarapa, so please make sure you dress accordingly - there will be shaded areas, but please bring a sun hat and don’t forget to slip, slop, slap!

And much like the desert, it can get quite cold in the evening too - so bring another layer to throw on if you need.

Footwear: for the ladies, please note that this event takes place in a grassy field and we recommend low wedges.

Can I bring a plus 1 / children / dog / llama?

Whilst we’d love to invite everyone, we are unfortunately limited to a capped number of guests. So this invite is only for the people(s) named in the email.

If I’m camping what facilties can I use?

We will have a portable loo and shower onsite for your use, please also bring your own towels (you need to be totally self-sufficent). There will be no power or lighting. There are a lot of guests staying in the house and limited bathroom facilities, so there will be no access to the main house.

Are there Taxis or Ubers?

South Wairarapa has very few Taxi / Uber options, and with a number of other functions it is very unlikely you would be able to get transport through these services. Please make sure you have a plan to return to your accommodation.
